The Aerospace Industries Organization is a government organization and a subsidiary of the Ministry of Defense of Iran. This organization was formed in 1999 from the merger of the Missile Industries Group and a number of subsidiaries of the Sased Group. What currently exists as a missile industry in Iran is affiliated with this organization. Currently, Brigadier General Afshin Khajehfard is the head of the Aerospace Industries Organization.

International Cooperation of the Aerospace Organization

This organization also plays a significant role in the development of missile technologies by transferring its technologies to the proxy groups it supports and allied countries. Although the Aerospace Industries Organization was indirectly sanctioned from the very beginning of its activity due to the Iranian Revolution in 1979, in January 2020, the United States specifically placed this organization on its sanctions list. These sanctions prevented the organization from directly carrying out its international activities, so it tried to bring its products to the global sales stage by creating sales channels.
