The 40mm multiple grenade launcher is a lightweight, semi-automatic shoulder-held grenade launcher with a six-shot revolver cylinder (magazine) that fires the standard low velocity 40×46 mm grenades. Using the High-Explosive (HE) and High-Explosive Dual Purpose (HEDP) ammunition, this grenade launcher is a serious threat against enemy’s technical equipment, light armored vehicles, assembly areas, and light fortifications at a range of 300-400 meters. It can also be used for riot control by launching the non-lethal ammunition such as tear gas, smoke, etc. rounds.
