High explosive hollow base is intended for use with D-30 Howitzer Gun.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS (SMOKE, WP) 122 mm smoke ammunition uses WP to conceal and spot by limited incendiary effect. The ammunition is semi-fixed; the cartridge case is loaded separately so that where appropriate, the propellant charge can be altered to suit the fire mission.
