Mowj is an Iranian class frigate. It is highly capable for mounting various types of armament (such as missile control, torpedoes launcher, 76mm and 40mm artillery, etc.). This frigate is also capable of long distance sailing for military and naval operations.
This class combines anti-submarine assets with other systems of weapons capable of dealing with surface and air threats as well. The ship is designed for 150 crews.
